Once I was on Instagram, and then I decided not....
I decided not to be lost in the chaos of copycats, scammers, exploiters, the trolls.... inspiration had turned into desperation.
My images, my memory, the people I photographed meant something to me.
Social media should be a tool that we use, but NOT a tool that uses us.... it exploits are ideas for free and diminishes our uniqueness and dulls our senses.
And dumbs down how we see the world, simplifying it to digits. I learned to leave my camera behind sometimes, and look with my eyes and my other four senses.
